DAY 01 ARRIVAL – HANOI (D)

On arrival, pick up at the airport and enjoy a half day city tour to visit Ethnology Museum, a valuable centre for the exhibition and the preservation of cultural heritages of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. Then our next stops are Ngoc Son Temple and Sword Lake to explore their historical stories. Take your time to wandering around the Old Quarter streets. Enjoy a water puppet show – the unique traditional art. Check in hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 02 HANOI – HALONG (B,L,D)

(Note: The itinerary of cruise can be changed by the provider)

On arrival Hanoi, transfer to a hotel for breakfast only. Drive to Halong city. On arrival, transfer to a cruise by tender. Check in your cabin, while we start cruising towards Bai Tu Long Bay. Vietnamese lunch served on board, against the stunning backdrop of limestone formations and islands such as: Coc island, Cap De island, Bo Cau island, Vong Vieng fishing village. Arrive in Vong Vieng fishing village, discover the life of local people by a sampan. You are free to join one of our on-board activities: Kayaking, visiting the village by sampan, swimming in Cong Troi beach (transferred by tender, included), massage, relaxing on sundeck …

Stop in Trong cave area (Ho Dong Tien cave area) for overnight. Dinner with fresh seafood provided by fishing villagers in the bay. Free time for relaxation. Overnight on cruise.

DAY 03 HALONG – HANOI – TRAIN TO LAO CAI (B,L,D)

Early morning, practice Tai Chi with our instructor during the sunrise. Then start your day with an International Buffet breakfast or set menu (depend on the number of guests on board). Explore the cave of Surprise (Sung Sot cave) – one of the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. Swimming or relax. Turn back to Bai Chay wharf – continue cruise slowly through Halong Bay. Check out, clear bills. Depart to Halong Tourist wharf, transferred to the restaurant. Have lunch in a restaurant in Halong city. A private car will pick you up and transfer back to Hanoi. On arrival, enjoy your free time until being transferred to the train station for a night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train (4 pax per cabin)

DAY 04 LAO CAI – SAPA – HILL TRIBE VILLAGES (B,L,D)
Arrive in Lao Cai train station at about 05:00. Take a transfer to Sapa. Have breakfast at local restaurant and explore Sapa town. Visit Cat Cat village, Ham Rong Mountain and Heaven Gate.In the afternoon, take a drive to visit Lao Chai village – home of Black H’Mong – here you trek through terraced rice fields to villages, meet and talk with locals to learn more about their daily life and habits. You trek through Ta Van village – home of Dzay hill tribe and get on car back to hotel in the town. Overnight in Sapa.

DAY 05 SAPA–HILL TRIBE COLORFUL MARKET–NIGHT TRAIN TO HANOI (B,L,D)
We would like to suggest you visit one of the most colorful markets in Lao Cai:
Sunday: Leave Sapa early by car to Bac Ha district for joining Bac Ha market of mixed hill tribes: Flower H’Mong, Dzay, Dzao etc. Lunch in Bac Ha and return to Lao Cai station for night train to Hanoi. Overnight on train (4 pax per cabin).

Tuesday: Leave Sapa early by car to Coc Ly colorful market of mixed hill tribes where you have chance to see H'mong and Dzao minority people in their most colorful costumes. Take a boat trip down stream on Chay river with picnic lunch. Enjoy scenic view from river and trek to Dzao, Tay minority village. Back to Lao Cai for a night train to Hanoi. Overnight on train (4 pax per cabin).

Thursday: Leave Sapa at 7:30 driving to Muong Khuong market which is a bit smaller than Bac Ha but also an original tribal one. There is not many foreign travelers get here and you will find yourself lost in the crowd of ethnic people of Flower H’Mong, Tay, Padi etc in their traditional colorful costumes. Picnic lunch and return to Lao Cai station for night train to Hanoi. Overnight on train (4 pax per cabin).

Saturday: Leave early in the morning at 6am, driving to Can Cau market, passing Bac Ha Town. The road between Bac Ha and Can Cau is hilly but very beautiful. The products at the market are interesting, and many different groups of ethic minority people represent make the market an unforgettable experience. Back to Bac Ha for lunch. Return to Lao Cai station for night train to Hanoi. Overnight on train (4 pax per cabin).

DAY 06 HANOI – NINH BINH – HANOI (B,L,D)

On arrival, pick up and transfer to a local restaurant for breakfast only. After that, continuing our trip to Ninh Binh, the south ancient capital of Vietnam. Take a boat trip along the canal between majestic mountain ranges and endless yellow rice fields. Visit Tam Coc Caves, well-known as the Halong Bay inland, worship at Bich Dong pagoda.

PM: Drive to visit Hoa Lu - the Ancient Capital and the remaining two temples of Dinh King & Le King. Back to Hanoi. Visit Temple of Literature which was built in 1070 in honor of Confucius, his followers and Chu Van An, a moral figure in Vietnamese education. Check in hotel. Overnight in Hanoi

DAY 07 HANOI – DEPARTURE (B)

After breakfast, free time until being transferred to the airport for a departure flight. End tour.
