Day 1 Siem Reap

Arrival at Siem Reap airport, after proceeding through immigration to obtain visas meet your driver and transfer to hotel for check in and free day at your leisure. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 2: Temple insight (B/L)

AM: After breakfast, meet your friendly tour guide and travel out to the Temples of Angkor. In the morning, you’ll visit the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk), the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Continue to Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. After this you will drive to a local restaurant for lunch. The afternoons continue with a visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat’s five towers symbolize Meru’s five peaks - the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond. Finally, walk to the top of the hill "Phnom Bakheng" to view the sunset. (Please note that the visibility of the sunset may not be clear during the rainy season.) Afterwards you will be transferred back to the hotel with marks the end of the tour. O/n at the same hotel

Day 3: Siem Reap departure (B)

Breakfast and you are free to enjoy the facilities of the hotel including a luxury spa or explore Siem Reap town until time to going to airport for your onward flight.
