Day 01 (D): Arrival – Saigon – Vung Tau
On arrival, pick up and transfer to Vung Tau city, once this seaside area was a place where French colonialists and later U.S. servicemen spent leisure time. At present, Vung Tau offers you perfect relaxation on sandy Marina beach caressed by the cool breeze from the vast Pacific Ocean.
Arrive in Vung Tau, check in hotel. Enjoy your free time to explore the local life or relax on the beach. Overnight in Vung Tau.
Day 02 (B,L,D): Vung Tau – Saigon
After breakfast, visit Sakayamuni (Buddha Shane), Niravana Buddhist Temple, Whale Temple and White Palace. Lunch at a local restaurant. Back to Saigon. Visit War Museum and Reunification Hall which was built in 1865 on the grounds of Norodom Palace as a residence for the French Governor General of Cochin China. Free time for shopping.Check in hotel. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 03 (B,L,D): Saigon – My Tho – Saigon
After breakfast, transfer to visit My Tho. Take a boat trip along Tien River to visit Phung Islet with many orchard gardens. You can enjoy some tasteful honey tea and local specialities in the sound of Tai Tu folk music performed by the local people. Lunch. Back to Saigon. Visit Thien Hau pagoda and China town. Check in hotel. Overnight in Saigon
Day 04 (B,L): Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels – Saigon – Departure
After breakfast, transfer to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. The Cu Chi Tunnel system had been created long time back, from 1948 to assist Viet Minh in the combat with French. And it was continuing built over 25 years later. It was an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers. In places, it was housed up to 10,000 people who virtually lived underground for years.... getting married, giving birth. During the American War the entire area of Cu Chi was designated a free fire zone and was heavily bombarded. From 1988, two sections of tunnels have been open for visitors. Back to Saigon.
After lunch, continuing to visit City Hall, Ho Chi Minh Monument, Central Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral, a magnificent building located in the heart of the city, and was built in a French style. Enjoy your free time until being transferred to the airport for your departure light. End tour.
